About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Sanitation Associate in Northlake, Texas. The role helps maintain a safe, clean, and tour-ready warehouse and surrounding facility by completing scheduled sanitation tasks and assisting with light maintenance as needed. The position pays $18.50 per hour, with an additional $1 per hour for second shift, and pays weekly. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Depending on location, may be required to be equipment certified.
• Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization, including peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Flexibility and self-drive to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, and office areas according to the sanitation schedule.
• Clean exterior building areas, including windows and walkways, and empty trash containers and receptacles according to the sanitation schedule.
• Sweep and scrub warehouse floors and office areas according to the sanitation schedule.
• Wipe down warehouse and office racks, guard rails, and walls according to the sanitation schedule.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tour-ready facility.
• Assist maintenance technicians as required and perform light maintenance activities such as painting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and work overtime as needed.
