About The Position

The Warehouse Custodian keeps assigned areas clean and orderly and performs warehouse and shipping tasks safely. Duties include preparing finished products for shipment, handling and tracking inventory, moving waste, completing daily logs, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment. The role follows company safety rules, uses appropriate personal protective equipment, and works with supervisors and team members to support customer satisfaction. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
No previous experience required.
Complete all safety and task training certifications.
A valid driver's license may be required based on business needs; employees who drive as part of their duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
Forklift certification may be required.
Able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean work area and comply with company safety rules, policies, and procedures; stop at-risk behavior by self and others.
Prepare finished products for shipping by shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
Load and unload goods and supplies and ensure proper handling.
Pack, label, and tag warehouse inventory.
Maintain warehouse quality and track damaged inventory.
Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, trucks, and/or railcars.
Move waste from the assembly line to dumpsters.
Complete daily logs.
Carry out supervisors’ orders and work with fellow workers and other team members.
Use proper personal protective equipment.
Support customer service and satisfaction.
