Warehouse Custodian
About The Position
The Warehouse Custodian supports Gordon Food Service’s distribution center by maintaining clean, organized buildings and operations. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, emptying trash, clearing snow, and maintaining landscaping. The role works in extreme temperatures ranging from -25°F to 100°F. No prior experience is required; training is provided. This is a second-shift position scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., with Fridays and Saturdays off. The starting pay is $19.60 per hour, including a $1.00 second-shift premium, with monthly performance incentives. Employees must be available to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions ranging from -25°F to 100°F.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
