About The Position

The Warehouse Custodian maintains cleanliness and helps care for the warehouse and office areas. The role includes cleaning floors and shared spaces, emptying waste containers, identifying repair needs, replacing air conditioner filters, notifying management about major repairs or additions to building systems, and maintaining pest control devices and applying pesticides, rodenticides, and herbicides. The job is performed in a fast-paced environment and may require overtime. Employees must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalency.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

At least 3 months of experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office space.
Empty trash and garbage containers.
Identify needed repairs, such as roof leaks and damaged dock shelters.
Replace air conditioner filters.
Notify management about the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
Maintain pest control devices and spray pesticides, rodenticides, and herbicides.
