The coordinator will also manage the shipping schedule, communicate with nursing and pharmacy staff to ensure supply availability, and purchase inventory supplies following correct procedures. Additionally, the position requires sourcing cost-effective products, minimizing freight costs, maintaining accurate inventory, and participating in physical inventory counts. The role also includes monitoring equipment tracking and maintenance, obtaining cost-effective rental equipment, and adhering to legal and ethical guidelines for patient and company information confidentiality. Participation in medication-related incident reporting and QAR form completion is also expected, along with potential on-call responsibilities.
