About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating warehouse inventory operations. This includes receiving, auditing, and stocking inbound shipments, as well as picking, quality auditing, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. The role also involves approving shipment requests, scheduling carrier pickups and deliveries, and managing inventory integration between jobs and distribution orders. Key duties include coordinating incoming job returns, reviewing products for damage, and determining the disposition of returned inventory for job closings. The coordinator will organize individual job staging, load shipments, prepare items and bills of material for outbound jobs, and perform daily cycle counts. Additionally, the position may require making local pick-ups and deliveries and building crates as needed. The company, M. G. Requirements

  • Ensure that safety practices and policies are always followed.
  • Ability to operate forklift.
  • Safely load and unload products for trucks or containers.
  • Communication skills to service internal customers and partner with other departments.
  • Basic computer knowledge in Warehouse management, ERP or other inventory system.
  • Ability to lift/ move inventory up to 50lbs, requires walking/standing in daily duties.
  • Management and organizational skills to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, audit and stock inbound shipments and perform on demand equipment engineering project material audit.
  • Pick, quality audit, pack and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Approve/handle shipment requests, schedule carrier pickups and deliveries.
  • Coordinate incoming job returns.
  • Review incoming/outgoing products for damage.
  • Disposition returns inventory for job closings.
  • Organize individual job staging.
  • Load shipments on UPS, LTL and trucks, as needed.
  • Prepare items and bill of material for outbound jobs by container and shipment.
  • Perform daily cycle counts of inventory items.
  • Make local pick-ups and deliveries as necessary (Possibly between buildings).
  • Build crates as needed.
