About The Position

Scan Global Logistics is a full-service global logistics provider operating on all continents. This is a direct-hire, full-time, onsite position in Franklin Park, Illinois. The role combines hands-on warehouse work with administrative duties involved in receiving, loading, preparing, documenting, and shipping vehicles and general cargo for international export. Training is provided.

Requirements

A forklift license is preferred; must be able to obtain certification within the first six months of hire.
Experience operating a table saw, nail gun, and basic tools.
Basic English proficiency to communicate with employees and customers, read and write work-related communications, understand instructions and guidelines, and participate in required training and assessments.
Ability to drive a stick-shift vehicle and hold a valid driver license.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
Self-motivation and strong time-management skills.
Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment, meet shipping and receiving deadlines, and operate warehouse machinery safely.
Active listening skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Basic computer literacy and mathematical skills.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repetitively during each shift.
Ability to push and pull up to 2,500 pounds using manual pallet jacks.
Ability to stoop, stretch, twist, and bend.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must pass TSA eligibility screening.

Responsibilities

Inspect the condition of vehicles and cargo during receiving, and prepare and load them into overseas shipping containers.
Prepare cargo for export, including documentation and compliance checks.
Load and unload cargo into and from overseas shipping containers.
Receive cargo, issue condition reports, take photographs, and maintain accurate records.
Move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or designated areas, and sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences.
Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, inventory tracking, and shipment documentation.
Maintain and organize the warehouse and work area to support safety and operational efficiency.
Perform facilities maintenance as needed, including sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
Participate in training and development programs as required.
Address customer complaints or requests proactively.
Attend all scheduled shifts consistently and punctually.
