About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator III coordinates records provided by drayage carriers, prepares required reports, and communicates data to customers and various departments. The role plans dock activities and informs dock management. It establishes daily drayage forecasts and vessel assignments, coordinates with drayage partners and other stakeholders, and works with dock supervisors to meet operational goals. The coordinator analyzes workload and labor needs, monitors priority container arrivals, tracks performance, and prepares reports for facility and company leadership. The position also participates in customer production calls and facility leadership status updates to review current and upcoming operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update daily performance shift goals for dock supervisors.
• Analyze the labor required to complete projected workloads.
• Follow up on operational shortfalls.
• Coordinate and monitor the arrival of priority containers, including airfreight and special projects, with dock supervisors.
• Establish daily drayage forecasts and vessel assignments.
• Coordinate with drayage partners, port authorities, terminal operators, and customers to help achieve daily and weekly goals.
• Maintain contact with carriers to collect data about daily performance.
• Analyze and cross-reference reports, coordinating with customer service and other staff to ensure customer goods are moved properly.
• Prepare multiple monthly summary reports for facility and company leadership.
• Participate in weekly production calls with customers and daily production status meetings with facility leadership to review current and upcoming operational needs.
