About The Position
Temco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join its team. The company is family-owned and has delivered and installed home goods since 1968, providing final-mile delivery and installation services for major retailers. The role involves collecting order notes, picking ordered items from containers and warehouses using identifying information such as barcodes and serial numbers, and preparing items for delivery by shrink-wrapping them and loading or staging them. The Warehouse Clerk also loads and unloads delivery vehicles and moves picked items to the shipment area using a clamp forklift, while performing general warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Analytical thinking capability.
- At least one year of warehouse experience.
- Ability to stand and walk for hours.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collect order notes to fulfill deliveries.
- Pick ordered items from containers and warehouses using barcodes, serial numbers, and other identifying information.
- Shrink-wrap items securely before loading or staging them for delivery.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, including trucks, vans, and containers, using a clamp forklift.
- Transport picked items from storage containers to the shipment area using a clamp forklift.
- Perform general warehouse duties as necessary.
