About The Position

This role is for a Warehouse Automation (WCS, WES) - Application Analyst to support UPS. The position requires a strong understanding of warehouse execution (WES) and warehouse control (WCS) systems, including their capabilities and integration points. Experience with implementing and supporting SaaS-based WMS solutions on cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, etc.) is essential. The analyst will also need hands-on experience with WMS platforms like Manhattan, HighJump, Oracle, SAP EWM, or Softeon, and possess strong technical knowledge of WMS functionality covering receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping. Experience with integrations to various material handling equipment is also a key requirement.

Requirements

  • Understanding of warehouse execution (WES) and warehouse control (WCS) system capabilities and integration points.
  • Experience implementing and supporting SaaS-based WMS solutions on cloud architecture (AWS, Azure etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with WMS platforms such as Manhattan, HighJump, Oracle, SAP EWM, Softeon.
  • Strong technical knowledge of WMS functionality - receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping.
  • Experience with integrations to material handling equipment (conveyors, sorters, pick-to-light, put-to-light, put walls, AR/RS etc.).
  • Exposure to voice, vision or robotic technologies for warehouse automation.
  • Knowledge of warehousing processes and best practices for optimization.
  • Ability to create detailed requirements and functional specifications.
  • Process mapping and gap analysis skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and problem solve issues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
