About The Position

The Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care for patients of Shands Hospital and the University of Florida Clinics. The role rotates duties between the Shands Outpatient and Medical Plaza Pharmacies and requires professional judgment in evaluating medication orders written for ambulatory patients.

Requirements

• Graduate from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
• Have previous experience in ambulatory practice.
• Have knowledge of insurance.
• Have strong communication skills.
• Be able to operate a computer and interact in a clinic environment.
• Be a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Florida.

Nice To Haves

• Pharm.D.
• Knowledge of a clinic specialty.
