About The Position

The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory and receiving and verifying parts. The role includes picking up parts from vendors as necessary, tracking incoming and outgoing parts, and reporting inventory needs to the fleet manager for reordering. The attendant also enters parts and outside repairs into the Fleet platform, performs scheduled maintenance on the building and tools, and completes sanitation duties in and around the fleet shop. The position requires following company safety rules and may include other duties assigned by management.

Work is carried out at a plant location, including the plant shop and warehouse, and in a company vehicle. The role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, crawling, reaching, and handling items in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and potentially slippery surfaces.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing and able to frequently stand, walk, bend, crawl, and push or pull items in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and possible slippery surfaces.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior mechanical maintenance experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations and adapt to changing situations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.

Responsibilities

• Organize warehouse inventory and pick up parts from vendors as necessary.
• Maintain records of incoming and outgoing parts and report inventory needs to the fleet manager for reordering.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on the building and tools as required.
• Enter parts and outside repairs into the Fleet platform.
• Perform sanitation duties in and around the fleet shop area.
• Observe all company safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
