About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Warehouse Associate / Package Handler at its Indianapolis, Indiana facility. The role helps move packages through the warehouse during the holiday rush by safely unloading, sorting, moving, and loading shipments. The position runs from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027, and pays $17 per hour, with overtime pay consistent with applicable law. Shifts are approximately 4–5 days per week for 16–20 hours total, with hours from 3:45 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. or until the sort is complete. Days and hours may vary based on business needs. End of Sort includes completion of the day's required sort work and cleanup as directed by site management.

This is a temporary seasonal position. Team members may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, subject to eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed. No previous warehouse experience is required, and training is provided. The role involves sustained physical activity, including handling packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently and participating in team lifts for packages up to 50 pounds. Employees may work in hot or cold warehouse conditions where temperature control may be limited.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.

• Be able to repeatedly lift packages as described, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently throughout the shift.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.
• Keep the workspace organized and ready for work.
• Help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
• Complete required sort work and cleanup activities as directed by site management.
