Warehouse Associate (FT, Days)
About The Position
Warehouse Operations performs manual or automated tasks needed to receive, store, and ship products. The work may include receiving products, fulfilling and packaging orders, and shipping orders within established team goals to ensure on-time delivery. The Warehouse Associate follows processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality-control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment. The role also involves cross-training in multiple warehouse areas, participating in projects as needed, completing housekeeping and inventory-control tasks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The associate must be willing to train and become certified to operate material-handling equipment when required by job duties. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or until tasks are complete. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The position is bonus-ineligible. Applicants may have little or no warehouse experience; training is provided starting on the first day.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working at heights up to 30 feet.
- Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to train and be certified to operate material-handling equipment as required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with technology such as computers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Warehouse experience is not required; candidates with little or no experience are welcome.
