About The Position

The Warehouse Associate works in Cardinal Health’s Saint Charles facility, which supports pharmaceutical supply chain and warehouse operations. Warehouse Operations performs and controls manual or automated tasks for receiving, storing, and shipping products, ensuring efficient product flow from vendors to internal and external customers. The associate receives and fulfills orders so customers can obtain products needed to care for patients. Training is provided starting on the first day, and candidates with little or no warehouse experience are welcome. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or until work is finished. The pay rate is $20.17 per hour. The role is bonus-ineligible. Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality-control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as assigned by a manager or other management team member.
Perform housekeeping and inventory-control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Train and become certified to drive material-handling equipment as required by job duties.
