About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Warehouse Associate (Package Handler) in DeSoto, Texas. This active, hands-on role supports the movement of packages through the warehouse. Team members unload, sort, move, and load packages, keep packages and work areas organized, and work together to help shipments reach their destinations safely and on time. Training is provided; previous warehouse experience is not required.

The position is seasonal, part-time, and temporary, with a season running from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027. Shifts start at 10:00 a.m. and finish at 3:00 p.m., with approximately five hours per shift. Available schedules are Sunday through Wednesday or Thursday through Saturday. End times can vary with package volume and business needs. Overtime may be required when business needs require it, with overtime pay consistent with applicable law. Premium pay is offered for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

The listed pay is $18.00, with weekly pay and a seasonal bonus opportunity. Bonus eligibility, amount, and payment requirements may vary by location and assignment. Seasonal team members may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, subject to eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work with the team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
