About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal, part-time Warehouse Associate (Seasonal Package Handler) to help move packages through its warehouse during the holiday season. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided. The role is active and hands-on, working with a team to move packages safely and efficiently toward their next destination.

The position is based at 375 W Apra St., Compton, CA 90220, and pays $18.00 per hour with weekly pay. The scheduled shift is 5:00 AM–9:00 AM, with shift options spanning different days of the week. Typical shifts last approximately four to five hours, and end times may vary with package volume and business needs. Overtime pay is provided as required by applicable law, and overtime may be required when business needs call for it. The seasonal assignment runs from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. Seasonal team members may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature-control capabilities may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
