About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Warehouse Associate, described as a Seasonal Package Handler, to help move packages through its warehouse during the holiday season. This active, hands-on role involves working with a team to keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently toward their next destination. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided. The role is based at 1951 Carnegie Ave., Santa Ana, CA 92705, and pays $17.50 per hour with weekly pay. The seasonal assignment runs from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. The role may offer consideration for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

The shift begins at 5:00 AM and typically lasts approximately four to five hours. End times may vary based on package volume and business needs. Shift options run across several schedules, each including weekend days. Overtime may be required when business needs require it, with overtime pay consistent with applicable law. Premium pay applies to hours worked on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Seasonal bonus eligibility, amount, and payment requirements may vary by location and assignment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods during the scheduled shift.
• Be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments, as temperature-control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for action.
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
