About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Package Handler to help keep packages moving through the warehouse during the holiday season. This is an active, hands-on role working alongside a team to unload, sort, move, and load packages safely and efficiently. Training is provided; previous warehouse experience is not required.

The role is seasonal and part-time, with a stated season duration of October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. The shift runs from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with scheduling options across various weekday and weekend combinations. Typical shifts last approximately four to five hours, though end times may vary with package volume and business needs. Weekly pay is $20.00 per hour. The position is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law, and premium pay applies to hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. A seasonal bonus is advertised; eligibility, amount, and payment requirements may vary by location and assignment.

Seasonal team members may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability. Continued employment is not guaranteed. The warehouse may have limited temperature control, and employees may work in hot or cold conditions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work with the team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
