About The Position
Sierra Forest Products is hiring a full-time, onsite Warehouse Associate in Kent, Washington. Working the 2nd shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., the role supports warehouse operations and customer service by safely handling, storing, and shipping specialty wood products. Compensation is $21–$23 per hour, plus a $2 per hour shift premium. This posting is for an existing, currently open position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift license required.
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push approximately 75 pounds repetitively and safely.
Nice To Haves
- Lumber or panel experience.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, move, and stack products using a forklift.
- Prepare orders for shipment and ensure the exact number and type of products are loaded and shipped.
- Oversee freight handling and secure loads according to established safety requirements.
- Tag, mark, or label stock items and place them in the correct storage locations.
- Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Enter updated inventory into the ERP system.
- Report inventory discrepancies to management.
- Maintain an organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
