About The Position

Cardinal Health’s Wheeling facility supports pharmaceutical supply chain and warehouse operations. Warehouse Operations handles manual and automated tasks for receiving, storing, and shipping products, including receiving, picking, packing, staging, transporting, and delivery. The team helps ensure products flow efficiently from vendors to internal and external customers according to established service parameters. As a Warehouse Associate, you will receive and fulfill orders so customers have the products they need to care for patients. Training is provided starting on your first day, and candidates with little to no warehouse experience are welcome. The role is part time and scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The pay rate is $18.80 per hour, including shift differential.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write in English to process documents.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
Warehouse experience is not required; candidates with little to no experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality-control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as assigned by a manager or other management team member.
Perform housekeeping and inventory-control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Train and become certified to operate material-handling equipment as required by job duties.
