Warehouse Associate (Part Time, Nights)

About The Position

Cardinal Health’s Wheeling facility supports pharmaceutical supply chain and warehouse operations. Warehouse Operations performs and controls manual or automated tasks needed to receive, store, and ship products, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The team manages the efficient flow of products from receipt from vendors through shipment to internal and external customers. Warehouse team members receive and fulfill orders so customers have the products they need to care for patients. This part-time role is scheduled Sunday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. The pay rate is $18.80 per hour, including shift differential. The role is not bonus eligible. Benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, and access to wages before payday through myFlexPay. The application window is anticipated to close on December 1, 2026.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write English to process documents.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse experience is not required; candidates with little to no warehouse experience are welcome.
Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and/or participate in projects assigned by a manager or other management team member as needed.
Occasionally wear steel-toed boots while performing certain warehouse duties, if required.
Work in cold temperatures during segments of the shift, if required.
Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Train and become certified to operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
