About The Position

Cardinal Health’s Wheeling facility supports pharmaceutical supply chain and warehouse operations. Warehouse Operations performs and controls manual or automated tasks needed to receive, store, and ship products, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The team helps ensure products flow efficiently from vendors to internal and external customers according to prescribed service parameters. Warehouse team members receive and fulfill orders so customers have the products they need to care for patients.

This part-time position is scheduled Sunday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. The pay rate is $18.80 per hour, including shift differential. The role is bonus-ineligible. Candidates with little to no warehouse experience are welcome, and training is provided starting on the first day. Work may involve cold temperatures and, for certain duties, occasional use of steel-toed boots.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
• Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write English to process documents.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, conducting quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as assigned by a manager or other member of management.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Train and become certified to operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
