About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Warehouse Associate / Package Handler in Kentwood, Michigan. The position pays $18.00 per hour and is scheduled for the season from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. Shifts are 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM or until the sort is complete, on variable days approximately 4–5 days per week for about 18–23 hours total. Hours may vary based on business needs. Overtime is eligible for pay consistent with applicable law, and a $500 seasonal bonus may be available subject to location, assignment, and other terms. Seasonal employees may be considered for permanent positions after the assignment ends, but continued employment is not guaranteed.

Warehouse Associates safely unload, sort, move, and load packages, help ensure packages reach their destinations safely and on time, and maintain an organized workspace. The work involves lifting packages independently and participating in team lifts, extended periods standing or walking, repetitive physical activity, and working in warehouse temperatures that may be hot or cold. No prior warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

The role offers weekly pay, flexible shift options, and an Employee Assistance Program. Eligible employees may receive paid sick leave in accordance with applicable state and local requirements and premium pay for hours worked on specified holidays. The position is based at 4647 60th St SE, Suite 400, Kentwood, MI 49512.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to perform the listed physical tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation, including repeated lifting and standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and other repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently throughout the shift.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Work in warehouse environments where temperature control may be limited.
• Keep the workspace organized and ready for work.
• Help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
