About The Position

The Warehouse Associate fulfills customer orders and supports receiving operations at Caleres' distribution center in Chino, California. The role involves picking and packing orders, inspecting incoming shipments, and collaborating with warehouse colleagues to maintain smooth operations and meet customer demands. The position is on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour, plus a $1.50 shift differential, with the potential to earn overtime.

Requirements

• Effective time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without an accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent years of experience preferred.
• One to two years of previous warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick items from designated storage locations according to customer order specifications, then pack orders securely and efficiently with proper labeling and documentation.
• Receive incoming shipments and inspect them for accuracy, quality, and damage; verify shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, or other documentation.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to maintain workflow, resolve operational challenges, and meet customer demands.
