About The Position

Allied Wire & Cable is hiring a full-time, direct-hire Cut & Strip Associate for its warehouse operations team at the Collegeville, Pennsylvania facility. The role involves operating machines to cut and strip wire and cable, performing quality control inspections, and helping with general warehouse duties as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The stated pay rate is $20 per hour, including shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle small wires and components.
• Ability to multitask.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, and lift 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation, as the site is not accessible by public transit.

Responsibilities

• Review order tickets and set up machines using iPads according to ticket specifications.
• Operate multiple machines to cut cable pieces according to order instructions.
• Inspect products using rules, calipers, and micrometers.
• Use computers to complete paperwork.
• Cut wire samples to check for damage and send them to customers.
• Operate pallet jacks to relocate inventory.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
