About The Position

Cardinal Health is hiring a seasonal Flex Worker for Warehouse Operations. The position supports the receipt, storage, and shipment of products, including order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping to meet team goals and ensure on-time delivery. Training is provided starting on the first day, and candidates with little or no warehouse experience are welcome.

The schedule is flexible and based on business volume, with a maximum of 29 hours per average on an ongoing basis. Workers must complete one mandatory, advance-scheduled shift each week (Sunday, 6:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m.); additional available shifts may be selected by the worker. Once a shift is accepted, the full shift must be worked, and it may extend beyond its estimated end time until operational work is complete. A 1–3 day onboarding ramp may be required during the first week or first pay period, with timing agreed during the offer process. Employment is expected to continue through 2/11/2026; workers interested in continued employment may be considered for future opportunities.

The hourly pay rate is $21.06, including shift differential. The role is bonus-ineligible and offers paid time off in compliance with applicable laws.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights up to 30 feet.
• Ability to work in cold environments, such as freezers or refrigerators.
• Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work the mandatory weekly Sunday shift from 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., and to work accepted shifts through completion of operational work.
• Availability for a flexible schedule based on business needs, up to 29 hours per average on an ongoing basis.

• Experience working with technology such as computers or point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Train and obtain certification to operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
