Cardinal Health’s Saint Charles facility supports pharmaceutical supply chain and warehouse operations. Warehouse Operations performs and controls manual or automated tasks needed to receive, store, and ship products, helping ensure efficient product flow from vendors to internal and external customers. Warehouse team members receive and fulfill orders so customers can obtain products needed to care for patients. This part-time flex role operates according to business volume. One shift per week is mandatory and scheduled in advance; additional available shifts may be selected by the employee. Additional shifts vary by location and week and may support high-volume days, planned PTO coverage, or high call-off periods. Accepted shifts must be worked in full, follow standard attendance expectations, and may extend beyond the estimated end time until operational work is complete. The role will not exceed 29 hours per average on an ongoing basis. New hires may need a 1–3-day onboarding ramp-up during their first week or first pay period, with the schedule agreed upon during the offer process. The position pays $21.67 per hour, including shift differential, and is not bonus eligible. Paid time off is provided in compliance with applicable laws. Employees receive shift opportunities, work updates, and announcements on a mobile device and can select available shifts, with no traditional time-off requests required. The mandatory Sunday shift is 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. Other potential Monday–Thursday shifts are 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m., or 7:00 p.m.–3:30 a.m. or until work is complete. The role includes order fulfillment, quality checks, packing, shipment preparation, cross-training, housekeeping, and inventory control. Work may involve cold temperatures and occasional use of steel-toed boots. Training is provided starting on the first day.
