About The Position

The Warehouse Associate - Pallet Sorter hand sorts pallets within a distribution facility while maintaining safety and cleanliness. The role supports customer production by handling pallets and materials, verifying load security and product quality, coordinating trailer moves, completing production paperwork, and communicating regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager. The position is located in Atlanta, Georgia. The listed shifts are Sunday–Thursday, 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. (2nd shift), or Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. (3rd shift). Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school degree or GED required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work overtime when needed.
Ability to work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, elements, and airborne particulates.
Ability to repetitively bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
Close, distance, and color vision abilities.
Use required personal protective equipment, including eye protection and safety shoes; ear protection is mandatory at several locations.

Responsibilities

Hand-stack pallets to appropriate heights.
Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the distribution center.
Check loads to ensure they are secure.
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
Coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system.
Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
Communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
Maintain safety and cleanliness in the distribution facility.
