About The Position

As a Pallet Sorter, you will hand-sort pallets in a distribution facility while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. The role supports customer production and involves active, hands-on work. The position is located at 14750 Miller Ave, Fontana, CA 92336, and pays $19.00 per hour. The second shift runs from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday, with days off discussed during the interview.

Relogistics is part of the largest pallet management services company in North America, providing pallet supply, retrieval, on-site services, reverse logistics, and packaging materials. The work environment may involve extreme conditions, including heat, cold, elements, and airborne particulates. Work requires repetitive movement and standing throughout shifts of varying lengths. Noise levels depend on the location. Required PPE includes eye protection, safety shoes, and ear protection at several locations. The role requires close, distance, and color vision, and regular lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of up to 70 pounds. Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to repetitively bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths.
• Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
• Use required personal protective equipment, including eye protection and safety shoes; ear protection is mandatory at several locations.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the distribution center.
• Check loads to ensure they are secure.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system.
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
• Maintain high levels of safety and cleanliness.
