About The Position
As a Pallet Sorter, you will hand-sort pallets within a distribution facility while maintaining high levels of safety and cleanliness. The role involves active, hands-on work that supports the customer’s production. The position is based in West Memphis, Arkansas, and pays $20.00 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
Responsibilities
- Hand-stack pallets to appropriate heights.
- Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
- Move pallets and materials on pallets or in crates around the distribution center.
- Check loads to make sure they are secure.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system.
- Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
- Communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
