About The Position

The Pallet Sorter works in a production-based warehouse environment, sorting and inspecting pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade. The role involves evaluating pallet repair needs, sorting pallets after inspection and repair, and following established safety, sanitation, and housekeeping practices. The position may require operating a forklift; training and certification will be provided. Multiple shift schedules are listed, including weekday and weekend options.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform consistent, repetitive motion, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to meet minimum production and quality requirements.
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity using a pallet jack.
• Prior forklift experience and certification; preferred but not required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma, GED, or comparable work-related experience; preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety behaviors, processes, and procedures while performing all job duties.
• Hand-sort pallets accurately and efficiently by manufacturer, quality, and grade using visual inspection.
• Inspect pallets and determine the level of repair needed according to established criteria.
• Sort pallets by quality and grade after inspection and repair.
• Perform sanitation, “Clean as You Go,” and good housekeeping practices.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently if required; training and certification will be provided.
• Meet minimum production and quality requirements in a production-based role.
• Work effectively within a diverse team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by site leadership.
