About The Position

The Material Sorter hand-sorts pallets and other materials in a distribution facility, helping maintain safety and cleanliness and supporting plant production. The position is based at 2507 Georgia 140, White, GA 30184, and pays $18.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the facility.
• Check loads to make sure they are secure.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system.
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Communicate directly with plant management regularly.
