About The Position

The Warehouse Associate loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site. The role is based in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and uses appropriate equipment such as a forklift, hand truck, or electric pallet jack to handle materials. The associate also performs warehouse and sales center office housekeeping and grounds maintenance, wears company-provided uniforms and safety equipment, and may perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.

Responsibilities

Load and unload materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or with appropriate equipment.
Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine which materials or containers to move.
Load materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Move materials from storage sites to designated loading areas.
Count and record units moved or handled, as well as breakage and spoilage, on appropriate sheets.
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials, or mark information on cases and other containers.
Stack or assemble materials into bundles and wrap bundles together.
Perform housekeeping and grounds maintenance for the warehouse and sales center offices.
Wear company-provided uniform and safety equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
