About The Position

As a member of the Warehouse team, the Night Warehouse Worker helps deliver products to customers by safely and efficiently picking and loading orders for next-day delivery. The role pays $21 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., for approximately 30 hours or fewer per week. The position involves order fulfillment, loading route trucks, inspecting and operating warehouse equipment, handling beverage alcohol products, and maintaining a safe and clean work area. Other duties may be assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written English instructions.
• Good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment.
• Professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 65 pounds for extended periods.
• Ability to reach frequently, with intermittent overhead reaching; stand and walk for extended periods; and squat and/or bend frequently.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience and/or training, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build orders for dock routes according to invoices, accurately and on time, through case picking or on the bottle line.
• Load route trucks with product according to computerized schematics.
• Inspect assigned warehouse equipment daily and report deficiencies.
• Safely operate material handling equipment as needed, including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, keg fork dock stockers, slip-sheet lifts, de-layer machines, clamp trucks, double pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers.
• Safely and properly handle shipments and replenishment of product.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report unsafe work-area conditions.
• Responsibly handle beverage alcohol products.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor.
