About The Position

The Warehouse Associate loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site. The position is based in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The associate handles materials using appropriate methods and equipment, including hand, forklift, hand truck, or electric pallet jack. The role also includes recording material movement, labeling and bundling items, and maintaining warehouse, sales center office, and grounds cleanliness. Employees wear company-provided uniforms and safety equipment. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Responsibilities

Load and unload materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, hand truck, or electric pallet jack, as appropriate.
Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine which materials or containers to move.
Load materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Move materials from storage sites to designated loading areas.
Count and record units moved or handled, as well as breakage and spoilage, on appropriate forms.
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases and other containers.
Stack or assemble materials into bundles and wrap bundles together.
Perform housekeeping and grounds maintenance for the warehouse and sales center offices.
Wear company-provided uniform and safety equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
