About The Position

A well-established, locally owned company is hiring a Warehouse Fulfillment Associate for warehouse duties in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the surrounding area. The position is primarily on the first shift, with occasional after-hours and weekend work. Pay is hourly, based on verifiable experience, and is paid weekly. The role involves warehouse sorting and fulfillment, along with loading and unloading trucks at pickup and delivery locations. Work may be performed by hand or with a pallet jack, cart, or hand truck, and requires lifting up to 50 pounds. The associate may drive box trucks, cargo vans, and forklifts, follow routing and client instructions, complete and submit required documentation, and perform other duties assigned by the Branch Manager. Candidates must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card, be at least 25 years old for insurance reasons, and pass a background check. A drug test and motor vehicle record check may also be performed by a third party.

Requirements

Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
Must be at least 25 years old due to insurance reasons.
Must be able to pass a background check; the posting specifies no felonies or DUI convictions in the past seven years. Any job offer is based on background-check results.
Experience driving 24–26-foot box trucks with liftgates, cargo vans, and forklifts.
Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks or dollies.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Familiarity with smartphones and tablets.
Professional appearance and demeanor; reliability, friendliness, and willingness to go the extra mile for clients.
Ability to work safely, follow instructions, and communicate as necessary.

Nice To Haves

Previous commercial driving experience.
A clean criminal background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record; screening may be conducted by a third party.
Warehouse experience; one year is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Flexibility in schedule.

Responsibilities

Perform daily warehouse duties and sort freight in a warehouse setting.
Load and unload trucks at origin and destination by hand or using a pallet jack, cart, or hand truck.
Drive 24–26-foot box trucks with liftgates, cargo vans, and forklifts as needed.
Follow instructions and routing to meet or exceed client expectations.
Complete and submit required documentation.
Work safely, follow instructions, and communicate as necessary.
Perform other duties assigned by the Branch Manager.
