About The Position

The Warehouse Associate supports warehouse operations at Halifax Stanfield International Airport by picking orders, receiving freight, replenishing store stock, and helping maintain inventory. The role requires open availability for regular shifts and a full-time schedule. The position is advertised at $19.00 CAD.

Requirements

Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work in environments exposed to hot and cold elements.
Previous warehouse experience.
Previous experience operating a pallet jack.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Open availability to work regular shifts.
Ability to work a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

Protect company assets in the warehouse, including non-stock merchandise.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for warehouse personnel.
Place stock orders as required.
Count and receive incoming merchandise and report shortages or overages to management before required deadlines.
Count merchandise returns and complete the appropriate paperwork for vendors.
Replenish stock on the sales floor.
Isolate, sort, and organize damaged and outdated products for supplier credits and returns.
Organize merchandise for annual inventory.
Assist with inventory and reconciliation of inventory variances.
Notify management about out-of-stock merchandise.
Assist with stocking stores and backrooms.
Assist with trash removal and recycling.
