Retail Warehouse Associate - PT & FT Available
About The Position
Valley Wide Cooperative is hiring Warehouse Associates for part-time and full-time positions. The role is accountable for inventory control and product rotation, maintaining orderly areas, and filling propane. This is a safety-sensitive position, and employees are expected to perform required tasks with concentration and dedication. Warehouse Associates acknowledge and assist customers, employees, and vendors; help customers with product information and orders; clean and organize the lot and warehouse; operate forklifts and hand trucks; inspect equipment; load and unload trucks; and stock and maintain warehouse and stored inventory. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must be certified to operate a forklift.
- Must be willing to become propane certified upon hire.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to importance.
- Ability to communicate using proper telephone etiquette with customers, employees, and vendors.
- Strong team-player focus in all interactions.
- Must exhibit a professional and positive image.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
