About The Position

Caregivers provide daily quality care, engaging activities, enrichment programs, and meal service to residents in assisted living and memory care. The role supports residents in living life on purpose by providing compassionate, individualized assistance and contributing to a welcoming, safe, and engaging community. Training and education are provided, with opportunities to advance into roles such as Med Passer or Lead Caregiver, or to pursue CNA or STNA certification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or work equivalency.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Personal Care Assistant (PCA) experience.
• Med Passer and/or Lead experience.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and interact professionally, respectfully, and hospitably.
• Assist with daily personal and medical care routines according to individual care plans.
• Provide physical fitness, brain fitness, and social and spiritual enrichment activities.
• Observe residents and report changes in their physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Record medical and health documentation according to established procedures.
• Cook, serve, and feed meals to provide an engaging dining experience.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and living areas.
• Promote teamwork, laughter, and happiness.
