About The Position
The Caregiver provides hands-on, in-home assistance to older adults, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. The role includes personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and support with light exercise. The position offers day, evening, overnight, and weekend scheduling options, along with paid training, workshops, mentorship, and promotion opportunities.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, PCA, or CNA is preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to earn it soon.
- Confidence with housekeeping, meal preparation, and safe transfer techniques.
- Clear, compassionate communication and respect for client privacy.
- Ability to assist with transfers or lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
- Patience, reliability, and eagerness to brighten clients’ days.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, PCA, or CNA.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe mobility.
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals and keep living spaces clean and organized.
- Provide timely medication reminders and track basic health cues.
- Offer companionship through conversation, games, walks, and accompanying clients on errands or appointments.
- Assist with stretches or physical-therapy routines as directed by professionals.
