About The Position

The Caregiver/STNA supports residents in a senior living community by helping maintain a clean, safe environment and assisting with activities of daily living. The role promotes resident independence, dignity, and physical safety, and includes engaging residents in life skills and enrichment activities. The position is offered for part-time or full-time work on the second shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management, and coworkers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms and work areas.
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting their dignity and physical safety.
• Participate in and assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating, as instructed.
• Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
