About The Position

Requirements

Previous caregiver experience or an STNA license.
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
Respectful and compassionate manner with good bedside manner.
Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outside, including attending appointments and taking walks.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene, including bathing and toileting.
Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
Shop for clients or accompany them while shopping when needed.
Perform light housekeeping tasks clients cannot complete themselves, including preparing meals.
Report unusual incidents.
Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
