About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily customer order fulfillment activities within assigned areas of a distribution facility. The role demonstrates safety and operational expertise in a quality- and productivity-driven environment and regularly performs one or more distribution activities, such as order filling, shipping, or receiving. The position may involve assignment across different functions based on business needs, sometimes changing daily. The listed shift is Bulk, 8:00 a.m. to completion.

Requirements

• Basic ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Basic math skills, including counting, addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
• Basic computer skills, including internet navigation, keyboard use, and opening, closing, and saving documents.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds infrequently.
• Ability to push, pull, grasp, and perform fine manipulation of equipment with hands throughout work hours.
• Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, though this is infrequently required.
• Basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated good job performance and behavior, including teamwork, attendance, quality, and productivity.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including starting early and/or staying until work is complete.
• One year of previous related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform distribution-related functions as needed, including checking, picking, packing, replenishment, bin or bulk order filling and stocking, shipping, receiving or returns, sorting, and loading.
• Operate a pallet jack on occasion to move product.
• Contribute to a safe work environment through ongoing attention to housekeeping and safety.
• Demonstrate commitment to the company’s core values.
• Exchange information about immediate tasks with supervisors, leads, and work groups.
• Participate in implementing process improvements and contribute ideas and suggestions in a group setting.
• Work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
