About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a temporary seasonal Warehouse Associate / Package Handler to help process packages during the holiday season at its Knoxville, Tennessee location. The role involves safely unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages and keeping the work area organized. No prior warehouse experience is required; training is provided. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability, but continued employment is not guaranteed.

The position pays $16.00 and is eligible for overtime pay as permitted by law. The assignment is scheduled to run from October 27 through January 1 and offers a $500 seasonal bonus, subject to location- and assignment-specific eligibility and payment terms. Shifts are listed as 4:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m. or until the end of sort, with seven possible weekly schedules. Hours may vary according to business needs. End of sort means completion of the day's required sorting and cleanup activities, as directed by site management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages and stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, squat, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be able to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently throughout the shift.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep the workspace organized and ready for work.
• Help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
