About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate at Raymour & Flanigan, you play an important role in the lifecycle of customers’ purchases and help maintain the warehouse experience, from the parking lot and building areas to loading and unloading trailers, binning sofas, and preparing dining tables for assembly. The role requires following safety practices, maintaining a neat and safe work environment, becoming certified to use material handling equipment, and routinely handling furniture weighing up to and in excess of 200 pounds, including while elevated on warehouse equipment.

Requirements

• Commitment to Raymour & Flanigan's safety practices and maintaining a neat and safe work environment.
• Ability to become certified on material handling equipment, including order pickers and electric pallet jacks.
• Ability to routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture weighing up to and in excess of 200 pounds.
• Ability to safely lift furniture while elevated on warehouse equipment at heights of 30–40 feet above ground.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without now or future visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating an order picker, electric pallet jack, or inventory scan gun.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift furniture while elevated on warehouse equipment at heights of 30–40 feet above ground.
