About The Position

Gexpro Services is a supply chain services provider that develops and manages production inventory programs supporting manufacturing OEMs. The Warehouse Associate assembles and prepares orders for shipment to customers, handles incoming materials, and supports shipping and loading activities. The role requires warehouse labor experience and the ability to meet the physical demands of warehouse work. Overtime may be needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Previous experience performing the physical demands associated with warehouse work is preferred.
• Ability to walk on hard surfaces, stand continuously, lift up to 75 pounds unassisted, and perform repetitive hand use/manual dexterity tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks to help satisfy customer requirements.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• General labor experience in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Pack each order into a container and arrange the container on a shelf according to truck route.
• Verify the quantity and description of received materials by checking merchandise against the packing list.
• Count and record the total quantity of merchandise being shipped on the invoice.
• Receive materials from vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly.
• Process UPS shipping paperwork, verify merchandise, apply the correct postage tape, follow customer shipping instructions, and insure shipments when necessary.
• Load common-carrier and company vehicles when necessary.
