About The Position

The Warehouse Associate performs warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging, and shipping. The role involves handling incoming freight, maintaining accurate inventory, preparing products for distribution, and keeping the warehouse, supplies, equipment, and facility clean and organized. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming freight using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand, and visually verify parts and their condition.
• Verify product quantities going into stock and follow correct stocking and overstock identification and placement processes.
• Prioritize and fill orders accurately using warehouse equipment, then route orders to the appropriate processing area.
• Pick the correct products and ensure they are safely packaged in appropriate quantities and containers, accurately labeled, and ready for shipping or distribution.
• Verify shipping orders against slips, use appropriate shipping lines, and load packages.
• Communicate and rectify problems involving damage, shortages, inventory inaccuracies, or specification issues.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Maintain the warehouse, supplies, and equipment, and keep the facility clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
