About The Position

The Warehouse Associate performs warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging, and shipping. The role involves verifying incoming freight and products, accurately picking and preparing orders, resolving inventory or product issues, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining warehouse equipment and facility organization.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming freight using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand, and visually verify parts and their condition.
• Verify product quantities being stocked and follow appropriate stocking and overstock identification and placement processes.
• Prioritize and fill orders accurately using warehouse equipment, routing them to the appropriate processing area.
• Pick the correct products and verify that they are safely packaged in appropriate quantities and containers, accurately labeled, and ready for shipping or distribution.
• Verify shipping orders against slips, use appropriate shipping lines, and load packages.
• Communicate and rectify issues involving damage, shortages, inventory inaccuracies, or specification discrepancies.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Maintain warehouse supplies and equipment, and keep the facility clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
