About The Position

The Warehouse Associate works in the Production department and reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. This full-time role processes donations and incoming inventory according to Salvation Army standards and policies. The position requires following instructions and safety procedures, inspecting merchandise, and performing physical tasks that include lifting up to 75 pounds and repetitive motions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to perform various repetitive-motion tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sort donations for processing in accordance with Salvation Army standards.
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain the area in and around the donation trailer or pod at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Sort products efficiently and properly according to Salvation Army policy.
• Inspect products for defects and damage as part of quality assurance.
• Identify products and direct them to the proper department for processing.
• Follow safety measures established by Salvation Army policy and government regulations.
